Gibson Terrace

Gibson Terrace is a play and learning project based in the West End area of Ashton. Here is some of the work the children have been doing.

Traffic survey by Chantelle aged 9 years

This is a traffic survey that I did on Stockport Road in Ashton. I did the survey from the bus stop between 3.40pm and 3.50pm. I watched the traffic moving and every car that went past was put on tally chart. This showed the numbers of different coloured cars. When I got home I added all the numbers up to get the frequency. I then made a bar chart of the survey, in total 83 cars went past in ten minutes. The chart shows the most popular colour of car to go past.
